The Romans are Coming!

On the morning of October 21, anticipation of an unknown surprise consumed the students during the first few classes of the day.They knew that something was coming, but they didn't know what. When they were called into the gym for the second to last class, the surprise was unmasked as they saw a display of various ancient roman artifacts. The scene was completed when a line of Roman soldiers and a couple of "servi" came filing in through the door. It was a field trip brought to school!

These reenactors were very instructive, using visual aid to help the students see what Romans soldiers were really like back in the day. The students really enjoyed it, and are looking forward to doing it again in the future.
