COVID-19 rules. Please do pay attention to follow the provincial or local rules concerning the limitation of the spread of COVID-19 while in our properties. We do not want to have to stop saying the Mass because of carelessness that could have been avoided. A policy explaining what to do is available upon request and you can find it posted at the back of our churches.
Prayer crusade. Please pick-up one of the sheets to help you in keeping track of the Rosaries said for the intentions of the Crusade: the freedom to celebrate and attend Holy Mass and for Vocations.
Adult catechism. Starting October 19, you can register for online catechism (YouTube videos) by Fr Boulet. Click here to register.
Priest retreats. The priests and brother of the priory of Toronto have not yet done their annual retreat, because of the COVID crisis, so we will be using a couple of weeks in November and December to do so. Please pray for us for this occasion.
Immaculate Conception. December 8 is the day of engagement for the priests members of the Society of St Pius X. Please pray for their perseverance and for the new members taking their first engagements on this day in our seminaries.
All-night adoration. Thank you to the many who came during the night of adoration in Orillia. We will try to continue this by doing it 3 times a year. The next one will be for the 40 hours before Lent. However, we will have an Holy Hour on December 31- January 1, and you may add some moments of private prayers before or after that Holy Hour.
Remember in your prayers the souls of all the faithful departed but especially those of deceased parishioners and relatives that have passed away in December: Richard Freundorfer (1997); Katrina Freundorfer (1997); Bernadette Pouliot (2006). I have just started a list with the names in the burial register, but do not hesitate to give me the names of deceased members of the missions or near relatives as some have not been buried in our missions. (Fr Jules Bélisle)
Prayers for the sick. Ingrid Leicht. If yourself or anybody in your near family is sick, you can give me a name and I will post it here for 2 months, except if you renew the request (if not, this list tend to grow ad infinitum!). (Fr Jules Bélisle)
